Manufacture of anti-vibration rubber bearings

The material selection and manufacturing process of the anti-vibration rubber bearing are as follows.

(1) Selection of raw materials

1) The rubber type should meet the mechanical properties of the support, with emphasis on achieving a certain strength, a small compression set and a suitable hardness. In addition, it is required to have superior weather resistance (heat resistance, cold resistance and weather resistance) and a continuous service life of not less than 60 years. Commonly used rubber types are natural rubber and neoprene.
2) 45th steel plate with skeleton material thickness ≥ 2mm. In order to ensure good adhesion to rubber, the surface of the steel plate needs to be cleaned by solvent, sandblasted and rusted, and finally coated with special adhesive.

(2) Processing and manufacturing

1) Due to the large size and large number of layers, it is recommended to use low temperature and long-term vulcanization. The vulcanization system adopts low sulfur and high promotion to prevent the tendency of reversion caused by long curing time.
2) Rubber is the same as general rubber products.
3) The vulcanization and vulcanization mold adopts a combination of three components, namely, the upper template, the middle frame and the bottom plate, and the upper and middle parts are respectively provided with positioning guide nail holes. The vulcanization pressure is greater than 7 MPa. After clamping, it is necessary to raise and lower the upper plate of the vulcanizer 2-3 times to eliminate the air trapped inside the rubber. Vulcanization can take a gradual heating mode.
